Last month the highly anticipated pillow talk collection from Charlotte Tilbury was released as an addition to the already infamous pillow talk lipstick and lipliner. I am a huge pillow talk fan, it’s one of my favourite products from CT – the best everyday colour and one of my most used products. As soon as I heard about the release I made a mental note (and a reminder in my phone) to order them as soon as I could. I don’t think I’ve been this excited for a beauty release in quite a while, and knowing that some releases in the past have sold out I wanted to make sure I got my hands on them.
The Eyeshadow Palette
The colours in this quad are really stunning, with pink undertones and some serious pigmentation. They blend beautifully and you don’t need to use much. This is the first eyeshadow quad I’ve tried from CT, I have the face in a palette which has eyeshadows included so had an idea of what the quality might be like. However I’m far more impressed with the shadows in the quad, which might just be down to the colours and pigments. I’ve been using this now around a month on and off and like it – a lot! It’s definitely tempted me to try some more of her eyeshadow quads. The shadows are a mixture of shimmers and softer matte shades, I tend to wear the top two together for everyday and then add the lower two if I’m wearing it out in the evening. I can see me getting a lot of use out of this quad as the shades are honestly so stunning.
The cheek to chic blush
I really love this colour blush, it’s the perfect pink and champagne colour and just adds a pretty glow to your cheeks. It’s quite pigmented so you don’t need a lot and it just helps you look quite fresh, which I appreciate! The centre highlight shade is a really natural shimmer and just adds the right amount of highlight and looks great when it’s mixed with the blush shade. This has fast become my favourite blusher and there hasn’t really been a day in the past month where I haven’t reached for it.
Have you tried the products the pillow talk products or any of the other eyeshadow quads? I’d love to know if you have any recommendations on which I should try next! I’m thinking vintage vamp or dolce vita!
