On a mission to try out more London brunch spots, this weekend my sister & I finally got round to trying out the brunch menu at Clerkenwell Grind . It’s been at the top of our list of places to try for a while now and I’m s glad we managed to head over to try it out. With it being so close to my work, I’m not often in the area at the weekend, but as we had booked into an exercise class close by, we thought it would be the perfect post pilates treat.
There was plenty on the menu, and we even spotted bottomless prosecco as an option, so there’s an excuse to go back! I decided to try out the full english breakfast which was delicious, the eggs were so tasty and it was so filling, honestly there was so much food. I normally go for pancakes as they’re my favourite brunch food but I fancied something really filling. Rachel went for her favourite, avocado on toast with eggs and beetroot smoked salmon which she loved and has told me she would order again in a heartbeat.
The interiors in this place are beyond gorgeous and it’s just as dreamy in real life as you might have seen online. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area and fancy treating yourself to brunch! We didn’t book as they do save some tables for walk ins and as it wasn’t too busy we managed to get seated straight away. We’ll definitely be going back as it was so nice and a great place to chill out and refuel after a busy morning. Also the staff were incredibly friendly which made being there even more pleasant!
So if you’re ever in the area and fancy trying out a new London brunch spot, then this place is well worth adding to your list!
